Does McCain get his social security check?

It appears so.

“I’m receiving the benefits, the system is broken and, unfortunately, my children and grandchildren, according to the trustees of the Social Security system, will not have the same benefits the present retirees have,”

A man who made $405,409 in 2007

with a wife who made more than $6 million in 2006(she recieved an extension for 2007)

felt the need to collect $23,157 in social security for 2007.

perhaps nobody explained that if you wait longer, you benifits go up, quite a bit actually. Maybe he should have waited until he was no longer working a job that is payed for by us taxpayers.

Plus do we really want a president collecting social security???
